Prof Deborah Andrews gave a presentation to Green Tech South West on the CEDaCI project.

She detailed how the project aims to evolve Data Centre usage and re-use into a circular economy, bringing together sub-sectors to create an all-encompassing plan. Deborah explained how the project has created a unique Circular Server, reducing chassis mass, component use and plastic mass significantly. The amazing Compass tool, also developed by CEDaCI, can be used to assess the lifecycle of equipment and its environmental impact.
